Our eternal victory doesn't mean that proclaiming the Truth will be easy.
Our eternal victory doesn't mean that proclaiming the Truth will be easy. We may lose friendships or face slander or hear insults. But Paul says, "And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day" (2 Timothy 1:11-12).
In this world, we will face the pressure to conform. We will encounter people who spread a false gospel. But as we hold to the Truth, we won't have to hang on with our own strength. God will be there to help us and to uphold us in our battles.
Prayer: Father, give me courage and strength to boldly proclaim the Truth of the Gospel. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
"Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold" (2 Corinthians 3:12).
