Save for Later

What does it mean to live in true spiritual freedom? In Got Freedom?, Dr. Michael Youssef boldly proclaims the liberating power of the Gospel as revealed in Paul’s epistle to the Galatians. With unwavering commitment to Biblical Truth, Dr. Youssef exposes the dangers of legalism, false teaching, and self-reliance—calling believers back to the sufficiency of Christ’s finished work on the Cross. This nine-part series unveils the radical contrast between living in the flesh and walking by the Spirit. As Dr. Youssef makes clear, freedom in Christ is not permission to sin—it is the power to live in holiness. Through repentance, surrender, and Spirit-filled obedience, believers can experience the victorious, transformed life God has promised.

Got Freedom? (Part 8)

Walk by the Spirit

In Part 8 of Got Freedom?, Dr. Michael Youssef issues a clear call to Spirit-filled living rooted in Galatians 5:16–26. True Christian freedom does not mean passivity—it demands daily surrender and warfare against the flesh. Dr. Youssef warns that many professing believers suffer spiritual power outages because they rely on human strength instead of yielding to the Holy Spirit. The works of the flesh bring division, defeat, and turmoil; but the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, and more—is evidence of Christ formed within. Crucifying the flesh is painful, but necessary, and always leads to resurrection power. Only those who walk moment by moment in the Spirit will bear lasting fruit and live in true victory.
