Save for Later

In Jacob: Portrait of Grace, Dr. Michael Youssef reveals the overwhelming power of God’s grace in the life of a flawed man whom God chose for His covenant purpose. Through Jacob’s failures in family, marriage, fear, deception, prosperity, surrender, reconciliation, and purity, this eight-part series declares that God’s inerrant Word never fails and His promises always stand. Jacob’s life points us to the Lord Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah and only Savior, whose grace forgives sin, breaks pride, restores broken lives, and calls believers to repentance, obedience, intercession, and faithful service for the Kingdom of God.

Jacob: Portrait of Grace (Part 4)

Grace in Sowing and Reaping

In Grace in Sowing and Reaping, Dr. Michael Youssef warns that God’s grace forgives sin, but it does not erase every earthly scar of disobedience. Jacob, the deceiver, is deceived by Laban, and he learns the unchanging Biblical law: a man reaps what he sows. Yet the grace of God is greater than every scar. This message calls believers to repent, stop blaming the past, and intercede for God’s strength to turn wounds into testimony. Through Jacob’s pain, we see that the Lord Jesus Christ can redeem broken lives, use the unusable, and display His sovereign grace for His Kingdom purposes.
