Save for Later

In a world that mocks the Cross as foolishness, Dr. Michael Youssef boldly proclaims it as the very power of God for salvation. In this three-part, Christ-exalting series, he traces the Cross from eternity past to its finished work and future fulfillment. From the foreshadowing sacrifices of the Old Testament to the atoning death of the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, Scripture reveals one unbroken plan of redemption. At the Cross, God’s justice was satisfied, sin’s debt was nailed in full, and repentant sinners were redeemed, justified, and reconciled to the Father. This series calls believers to humility, gratitude, and bold proclamation—clinging to the Cross and interceding for a lost world in desperate need of the only Savior.

The Folly and the Power of the Cross (Part 2)

Atoned by His Blood

In this powerful message, Dr. Michael Youssef proclaims that Jesus Christ did not die as a helpless martyr but went willingly to the Cross according to the Father’s eternal plan. Scripture is clear: our sin—not merely Judas, the priests, or Pilate—sent the sinless, virgin-born Son of God to Calvary. Yet in love, the Father delivered His Son to satisfy divine justice. At the Cross, Christ accomplished four eternal works—atonement, redemption, justification, and reconciliation. God’s wrath against sin was satisfied, our slavery to sin was broken, our guilt was declared paid in full, and peace with the Father was secured. There is now no condemnation for those in Christ. Therefore, repent, believe the Gospel, and intercede boldly for a world still enslaved to sin, proclaiming the only Savior who redeems.
