Save for Later

In the seven-part series There Is an ‘I’ in the ‘I AM’, Dr. Michael Youssef proclaims the unmatched identity and saving power of Jesus Christ through His declarations in the Gospel of John. Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Way, the Truth and the Life, the true Vine, and the Resurrection and the Life. Grounded in the inerrant Word of God, this series calls sinners to repent and trust Christ alone, urges believers to abide in Him, and challenges the Church to intercede for the lost and proclaim the Gospel without compromise. Who is Jesus, and why does He matter? He is God in human flesh, the only Savior, and the only hope for eternal life.

There Is an 'I' in the 'I AM' (Part 1)

The Bread of Life

Jesus Christ is not merely a teacher or miracle worker—He is the eternal I AM, God in human flesh, and the only Bread who can satisfy the starving soul. Dr. Michael Youssef declares that Scripture is without error and reveals Christ as the Savior who was crushed for our sins. Communion, religious activity, and intellectual belief cannot save. Sinners must repent, trust Christ alone, and continually feed on His Word. Believers must reject spiritual junk food, intercede for those dying without Christ, and proclaim the Gospel with urgency. This opening message answers the series’ central question: Jesus matters because only He gives eternal life and brings His people safely home to Heaven.
