Save for Later

In this four-part series, Dr. Michael Youssef delivers Biblical encouragement for believers living in troubling and uncertain days. Drawing from the Psalms of King David, he reminds us that appearances can deceive, but the Word of God reveals eternal Truth. When evil seems to prosper and the righteous suffer, Scripture calls God’s people to trust the Lord, reject envy, and rest in His perfect justice. Through repentance, steadfast faith, and unwavering confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ, believers discover that God never forsakes His children. As His Word dwells richly in our hearts, we are strengthened to resist discouragement, intercede for the lost, and proclaim the saving Gospel until Christ returns.

Encouraging Words in Discouraging Times (Part 3)

God Will Never Forsake

In this message, Dr. Michael Youssef declares from Psalm 37 that God never abandons His true children, even when they stumble and suffer. Because Scripture is the inerrant Word of God, believers must reject outward appearances and stand on His unchanging promises. David speaks from failure, repentance, and restoration, showing that the Lord upholds those who belong to Him through Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God. God’s will is not cruel but perfect, even when His ways are hard to understand. Therefore, believers must repent quickly, trust Him fully, and refuse the lie that evil has the final word. Christ saves, sustains, and delivers His people, and this certainty gives courage in discouraging times.
