Save for Later

What does it mean to live in true spiritual freedom? In Got Freedom?, Dr. Michael Youssef boldly proclaims the liberating power of the Gospel as revealed in Paul’s epistle to the Galatians. With unwavering commitment to Biblical Truth, Dr. Youssef exposes the dangers of legalism, false teaching, and self-reliance—calling believers back to the sufficiency of Christ’s finished work on the Cross. This nine-part series unveils the radical contrast between living in the flesh and walking by the Spirit. As Dr. Youssef makes clear, freedom in Christ is not permission to sin—it is the power to live in holiness. Through repentance, surrender, and Spirit-filled obedience, believers can experience the victorious, transformed life God has promised.

Got Freedom? (Part 7)

Freedom, Not Excuses

In Part 7 of Got Freedom?, Dr. Michael Youssef confronts the dangerous rise of “struggle theology,” which excuses ongoing, unrepentant sin by calling it a normal part of life. Preaching from Galatians 5, he declares that Christ did not die merely to forgive sin—but to break its power. Legalism cannot save, and hyper-grace cannot sanctify. True freedom is found only in confessing sin, turning from it, and walking in the Spirit. Dr. Youssef warns that unaddressed sin becomes a stronghold where Satan gains territory in the believer’s life. The call is urgent: examine your heart, repent, and allow Christ to rule every part of your life—so that His grace produces obedience, holiness, and joy.
