Save for Later

In the seven-part series There Is an ‘I’ in the ‘I AM’, Dr. Michael Youssef proclaims the unmatched identity and saving power of Jesus Christ through His declarations in the Gospel of John. Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Way, the Truth and the Life, the true Vine, and the Resurrection and the Life. Grounded in the inerrant Word of God, this series calls sinners to repent and trust Christ alone, urges believers to abide in Him, and challenges the Church to intercede for the lost and proclaim the Gospel without compromise. Who is Jesus, and why does He matter? He is God in human flesh, the only Savior, and the only hope for eternal life.

There Is an 'I' in the 'I AM' (Part 4)

The Good Shepherd

Jesus Christ is the eternal I AM, God in human flesh, and the Good Shepherd who willingly laid down His life for His sheep. Dr. Michael Youssef declares from the inerrant Word of God that Christ is not a hireling who abandons the flock, nor a false teacher who exploits it. He knows every believer by name, guards them from Satan, and holds them securely in His nail-scarred hands. Sinners must repent, hear His voice, and follow Him alone. Believers must reject deceptive shepherds, remain rooted in Scripture, intercede for wandering sheep, and proclaim the Gospel to every nation. Jesus matters because He died, rose again, and will bring His people safely into eternity.
