Save for Later

In the seven-part series There Is an ‘I’ in the ‘I AM’, Dr. Michael Youssef proclaims the unmatched identity and saving power of Jesus Christ through His declarations in the Gospel of John. Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Way, the Truth and the Life, the true Vine, and the Resurrection and the Life. Grounded in the inerrant Word of God, this series calls sinners to repent and trust Christ alone, urges believers to abide in Him, and challenges the Church to intercede for the lost and proclaim the Gospel without compromise. Who is Jesus, and why does He matter? He is God in human flesh, the only Savior, and the only hope for eternal life.

There Is an 'I' in the 'I AM' (Part 6)

The Vine

Jesus Christ is the eternal I AM, the true Vine, and the only source of spiritual life and lasting fruit. Dr. Michael Youssef declares from the inerrant Word of God that religious activity, outward success, and empty busyness cannot replace abiding in Christ. Fruitfulness comes only through daily surrender, obedience, repentance, and the work of the Holy Spirit. The Father lovingly prunes His children so they may reflect Christ more fully. Believers must intercede for the fruitless, reject shallow Christianity, and bear Gospel fruit by serving, giving, and making disciples. Jesus matters because apart from Him we can do nothing, but in Him our lives can glorify God and reach the nations.
