After preaching at a revival in Cairo in 2004, Dr. Michael Youssef became increasingly burdened by the lack of sound, accurate Bible teaching available in the Middle East both for the believer and the Truth-seeker. Following years of prayer and preparation to meet this vital need, THE KINGDOM SAT was established in 2009 and began broadcasting the uncompromising Truth of Christ into millions of homes across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This year is a milestone anniversary for THE KINGDOM SAT. We have been proclaiming the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the last 15 years—and God has honored this faithful work, bringing in a harvest beyond anything we could have imagined. But the work doesn’t stop there. While THE KINGDOM SAT reaches hundreds of millions of viewers, including audiences in closed countries like Saudi Arabia and Algeria, it also serves those viewers with dedicated on-the-ground Field Teams. These follow-up teams are available via phone, texting apps, and social media to respond to viewers’ questions, offering personal evangelism and discipleship. Many of Leading The Way‘s Field Team staff are themselves converts from Islam who have experienced persecution firsthand. All have a degree in Biblical studies and are equipped to respond to questions from viewers across the spectrum—from the angry to the spiritually hungry. To Whom It May Concern:
This apologetics program tackles common questions from Muslim seekers on topics like the Trinity, the incarnation, redemption, the crucifixion, the authenticity of the Bible, and more to help them overcome obstacles to faith in Christ.

1:1:
Based on Genesis 1:1, this program targets atheists in the MENA region, covering Genesis 1-12 with content filmed at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.

Women in the Bible:
This Bible study series features a roundtable discussion among women about women in the Bible, highlighting the value of women to viewers immersed in a culture that often considers women second-class citizens.

Mazameero:
Drawing from the concept of Psalms (Mazameer in Arabic), this evangelistic children’s program shares the Truth of the Gospel through song, drama, and clay animation.

North African Praises:
This praise-and-worship program offers encouragement and powerful Truth from God’s Word through song to reach viewers in countries like Algeria, where the government has closed down churches.

From Fantastic Muslim to Free Disciple of Christ: Ahmed’s Story (Palestine)
 
"I was a fanatic Muslim from Gaza, Palestine. I used to attack Christianity using anything I could. Jihad against Christians was my ultimate goal as I believed this would be the biggest achievement according to the Islamic faith. . . . By mere accident, I watched a Christian program . . . I decided to remove that channel from my TV, but eventually I restored it and started watching it more, leading me to watch other Christian channels.

"Two main figures attracted my attention [on THE KINGDOM SAT]—Dr. Maher Samuel and Rev. Sameh Maurice. After searching extensively, my eyes were opened, and I could see the beauty of Jesus Christ as I compared His teaching to the Islamic beliefs. I put my faith in Jesus Christ and began experiencing the power of His resurrection. At the time, I was engaged to a woman, and I told her, ‘I am building my faith on the Rock who is Jesus Christ. If you don’t believe in Him, there is no need for us to pursue marriage.’ She decided to leave me because of my faith in Christ. I am calling you because I am convinced you are the only channel I can trust. I need to get baptized to profess my faith and belong to the family of Christ.

"I resisted Christianity because I didn’t understand it. I want to help those who don’t understand the Christian faith and evangelize my Muslim family and friends. Please help me learn Christianity and its doctrine so I can be rooted in my faith."

The Field Team started a discipleship course with Ahmed to help him grow in his faith. At the end of the call, he raised his voice with the song, "I have decided to follow Jesus. He liberated me!" He also read Psalm 13, declaring God’s goodness.

FAITH OVER FEAR: Suleiman’s Story (Iraq)

"As a Muslim, I thought Christ was just a good man. I was in the midst of my search for the secrets of Allah. But one day, I had a dream that I was standing in a place that was covered in gold, and Christ was standing before me. In the dream, I was like a little child who was crying because he lost his family. At this moment, Christ approached me and said, ‘I am the door. I am the resurrection. I will be with you for all your life.’ Without hesitation, I went to Him, . . . and felt complete comfort and peace. After I woke up, I asked many of my Muslim friends about the dream and its interpretation. . . . then I somehow found THE KINGDOM SAT by accident and called you."

The Field Team explained to Suleiman the meaning of the dream and how Jesus was personally calling him to believe in Him. He said, "I know what it means to be a Christian coming from a Muslim background. My society would consider me an apostate, and they will kill me." Even though he was fearful, he decided to pray to receive Jesus as his Savior, and he shared that he felt the presence of the Lord immediately, which gave him peace and comfort. Our Field Team connected him with discipleship materials and a local church where he could be baptized.
