Save for Later

In a world that mocks the Cross as foolishness, Dr. Michael Youssef boldly proclaims it as the very power of God for salvation. In this three-part, Christ-exalting series, he traces the Cross from eternity past to its finished work and future fulfillment. From the foreshadowing sacrifices of the Old Testament to the atoning death of the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, Scripture reveals one unbroken plan of redemption. At the Cross, God’s justice was satisfied, sin’s debt was nailed in full, and repentant sinners were redeemed, justified, and reconciled to the Father. This series calls believers to humility, gratitude, and bold proclamation—clinging to the Cross and interceding for a lost world in desperate need of the only Savior.

The Folly and The Power of The Cross (Part 1)

The Cross Before Creation

In this opening message, Dr. Michael Youssef declares that the Cross was not an accident of history but the eternal plan of God before the foundation of the world. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 1:18, he proclaims that while the world calls the Cross foolishness, it is the very power of God for salvation. From Genesis to the Passover, every sacrifice points to Jesus Christ—the sinless Lamb whose shed blood alone removes sin permanently. Whenever sin is minimized, the Cross is trivialized. Scripture is clear: God is holy, sin is deadly, and repentance is essential. Christ, fully God and fully man, bore our guilt so that all who trust in Him may be saved. Believers must cling to the Cross, intercede for a deceived generation, and boldly proclaim the only Gospel that saves.
