Uncovering the Islamist Strategy for Domination

World View and Current Events

Dr. Michael A. Youssef speaks into a microphone while wearing a blue jacket.
They're two totally opposed worldviews, but they think that once they destroy Western civilization, they will fight it out—but we know who's going to win.

What’s the Islamist strategy for dominating the West—and what can Christians do to stand for freedom and Truth?

Recently, Dr. Michael A. Youssef sat down with John Anderson, former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, to answer this question and share more eye-opening insights from his #1 new release in 3 genres, An Unholy Alliance.

This excerpt from their conversation will open your eyes.

John Anderson: We’ve had this horrendous massacre at Bondi [Beach in Australia in December 2025]. I don’t think the major problem at Bondi was anti Semitism [or guns]. It fronts like it. Even radical political Islam isn’t the major issue here. The real problem here is that we’ve created a vacuum. We have lost understanding of our own values, the things that set us free. We lack all conviction. And people with real conviction, who think we’re weak and degenerate, they’re just flowing into that vacuum.

Dr. Michael A. Youssef: You’re talking about a 1,400-year-old problem. In my book, I explain that 1,400-year history and how it got here in the West. President Sisi of Egypt, himself a Muslim and a very wise man, understood the evil of Islamization or political Islam. I plead with people not to paint all Muslims with the same brush. Admittedly, 80 percent of Muslims are not Islamist, but 100 percent of the Islamists are Muslims. There are Mecca Muslims and Medina Muslims.

John: In the early part of Muhammad’s life in Mecca, he did not have a position of dominance or power. So he was relatively moderate in his behavior and utterances. In Medina—a different story—he started to live by the sword. Is that, broadly speaking, right?

Dr. Youssef: Muhammad had been discipled by a heretical Christian monk, an Ebionite who did not believe in the divinity of Christ. That’s why the Quran begins with peaceful passages; he was not trying to establish his own world. [When his polytheistic tribe persecuted him for his monotheistic message], he fled to what is now called Medina and gained strength. He basically recruited an army and invaded Mecca, killing all the pagans and taking power. All of a sudden, all the so-called revelations were about violence, killing, and destroying.

Muslim scholars resolve this contradiction by saying that what came first is abrogated by what came later—it’s a method of interpretation. Another Muslim jurisprudence taqiyah allows Muslims to lie to the infidel. It teaches them to do whatever it takes to survive, but once they have the upper hand to dominate and take over.

John: Like in Britain, Muslims already control around 25 seats in the House of Commons. It’s likely to rise to about 45 over the next 10 or 15 years. I can see a scenario where they will literally be able to use democracy to destroy democracy.

Dr. Youssef: This was the strategy—immigration. That’s what you come to do—not to assimilate or be grateful but to invade and destroy from within. Yusuf Qaradawi was behind this whole third Jihad concept that says Islamists will take over Europe, but not by the sword. They will do it with birth rate and investment of petrodollars. And now they have complete hold over the economy in England. Qaradawi essentially said, “We’re going to build a spine from the top to bottom of England, and once that’s strong, we’re going to start building ribs. And then we choke the country.” Today, there are 85 Sharia courts in Britain.

John: That’s pretty chilling. Now this is a logical point to jump into something that’s critically important—your subtitle—how Progressives brought about an Islamic invasion. How is it that modern secularists and Progressives have now aligned with people who loathe everything they stand for?

Dr. Youssef: Part of it is fear. Part of it is just sheer hatred toward Western civilization. As you know, Karl Marx said you have to start a war between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie so that the society collapses, and then you build on top of it. Islam thinks the same way: We collapse this Western civilization; we build our Sharia. They’re two totally opposed worldviews, but they think that once they destroy Western civilization, they will fight it out—but we know who’s going to win.

John: Would it be fair to say that Islam is as much a political system as it is a faith?

Dr. Youssef: Jesus said to Pontius Pilate, “My Kingdom is not of this world.” The Kingdom of God is otherworldly. The rule of God is in the heart of His children, not geographical. But the kingdom of Islam is location, geography, the world, to bring it to the feet of Allah.

Instead of gratitude, like most immigrants feel, the Islamists come with the understanding, “We are going to conquer, rule, and dominate you.” They are building, just like they did in England, these “no-go” zones, [where government authorities stay out], and eventually they’ll connect them together.

John: We are, whether people like it or not, engaged in great ferment over belief systems. Islamic belief is right up there, and they’re advancing very successfully. Christianity looks like, in many ways, it’s in retreat.

Dr. Youssef: I want to do everything I can before I go to glory to ensure that those who have never heard hear through media, through technology. Jesus said in Matthew 24 that the Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached around the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. I’m going to do all I can so that men and women, boys and girls, come to know Jesus. I don’t know when Jesus is coming back, but we need to plan as if He’s not coming back for 100 years. But I’m ready as if He comes tomorrow.
