We long to see every generation draw near to God—to stand firm in the face of trials with the peace that surpasses understanding. But we know this cannot happen apart from the power of God. So in faith, let’s bring to Him our cares and ask Him to transform lives for His glory among every generation. As we fall to our knees in fervent prayer, may God revive our hearts and ignite an awakening among the lost from every stage of life.
UNBORN & INFANTS
Heavenly Father, thank You for these precious souls made in Your image. We know You have a purpose and plan for each one (Psalm 139:13-16). We pray for their protection, for strong, loving families to raise them, and for local churches to show them the beauty and hope of Christ. May they have opportunities to hear Your Gospel from an early age and come to saving faith in Jesus.
SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN
Heavenly Father, as these children learn and mature, give them eyes to see Your hand at work in the world. May they come to You with their questions and find that Your Word satisfies their soul. Help them to hold onto wise instruction, which is their life (Proverbs 4:13)—and give them supernatural discernment to identify false teachings. May they seek the way, the Truth, and the life into eternity.
SINGLE ADULTS
Heavenly Father, with so many choices on the horizon, we especially ask You to give this group Your wisdom. Help them to put first Your Kingdom and righteousness. As they seek a higher education, a career path, a spouse, a community, a local church, and more, may they not only be blessed but serve as a blessing to those around them (Matthew 6:25-34).
MARRIED COUPLES
Heavenly Father, we know You have designed societies to thrive when founded on strong marriages, so we pray that You would bring godly mentors to new couples. May they seek to love one another, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21-33). Strengthen them so that they form a strong household of love, respect, and trust—a powerful witness to those around them.
PARENTS
Heavenly Father, we pray against forces that seek to drive a wedge between children and their parents. Help parents not to discourage their children but to help them see the depths of Your love and the glory of a life lived for You (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). May the families that You have formed develop deeper, stronger bonds so that they face the struggles of life with confidence in Your faithfulness.
EMPTY-NESTERS
Heavenly Father, as parents launch their children into adulthood, give them peace in knowing You will honor their efforts to bring their children up in Your training and instruction (Ephesians 6:4). Meet them in any feelings of loss or loneliness, and help them to trust You as they step back to allow their children to find their own footing (Proverbs 22:6). And give them fresh joy as they discover new ways to serve Your Kingdom.
GRANDPARENTS & ELDERS
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom of these aging souls. May they not shy away from sharing their history to encourage the younger generations. May their local communities love and treasure them well. By Your Spirit, let our elders keep their eyes on You and model a life lived in abundant joy, pursuing those sweet words from Your lips: “Well done, good and faithful servant!” (Matthew 25:21).
